I love my daily cat eye... Never really was an eye shadow kind of person. The moment I knew I was capable of drawing a decent liquid line bordering my upper lashes I was hooked ever since. Harrods sent me a bunch of cat eye essentials by Estée Lauder to try out (Double Wear Zero-Smudge liquid liner equipped with pretty much the best brush for a thicker stroke and staying intact for as long as you need it to, and Sumptuous Bold Volume mascara real nice for mandatory lash definition). I tend to gravitate towards brown or graphite hues, matching up the colour of my hair, just because I can, as raven black always seemed a little too bold of a statement for me.
On the lip front I'm prone to opt for nothingness (as in an occasional balm for moisturising purposes only) as maintenance or unnatural colour excess seem so daunting. But Estée Lauder has the silkiest lipstick blend, in Brilliant Bare (Pure Colour F2), which just by the name alone was enough for me to cave in. Without giving it a second thought, I just love that it does exactly what it's meant to - it is barely there, fading in so smoothly and requiring zero preservation.
