Here goes... Singapore week in about hundred pictures. And probably the most diverse place I have ever visited. We stayed on the island of Sentosa, where wild life is literally walking around you (and does enjoy breakfast crumbs being thrown their direction), and ventured to the city every single afternoon. I loved the rainforest, and peacocks, and parrots, and thunder storms every other day, and multiple rainbows, and fresh coconuts, humidity steaming up my camera in the mornings (I have given up on wiping at some point), a few stories high palm tress and an absolute bliss under the sun. I have probably been more of a tourist than most people there trying not to miss anything at least remotely worth seeing. In case you are contemplating a twelve hour haul to the other side of the world do start with Marina Bay Sands or the Singapore Flyer for a general overview, then head towards the Orchard road just to be able to see for yourself that it really is possible to have such a high concentration (and I don't mean three or four, it gets way grander than that) of shopping malls you can encounter during one stroll. Checking out the Hilton Galleries and Club 21 for a good dose of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Jil Sander might definitely be on your list. Although prices tend to be quite a tad higher than usual, buying in twos might possibly be a good idea, since most stores offer 20% off for tourists. Once you got this out of your system, head over to China town or Little India for a more picturesque ethnic scenery. Bigus junction is a cool place to be for a more hip and young atmosphere.
Can't wait to be visiting neighbouring countries next time around.
